It was a year when the new company with the new vision and dreams was unraveled with a lot of enthusiasm and the beginning of famously called “Leyland Chouraha” which now is the headquarters for the company.
Grand Inauguration of Chanderia, Chittorgarh by Mr. KrishnaMurthy (head of Service- AL) and Mr. B Khaitan (Regional Manager, AL). This was the year when the first geographical expansion took place at SMPL which was a leap for setting bigger things.
SMPL, first expansion outside the heavy vehicles. It was a year which saw horizontal expansion and the beginning of “ Sandeep Bajaj”. It was inaugurated by then minister Shri Pratap Singh ji Singhvi.
New concept of commercial vehicle workshops on highway was conceived. The set up was inaugurated by Shri R Shesahyee, Managing Director, Ashok Leyland. It was a grand opening where our customers reposed the faith and trust in us while delivered 101 vehicles on the same day.
This was the need of hour as Nasirabad is the tractor trailer capital of the country. It gave us the wings that the company needed and the stepping stone to get closer to our customer for better engagement and satisfaction. The set up was inaugurated by Shri Vinod Dasari, MD of AL. We had delivered 101 vehicles on the same day.
SMPL, for the first time decided to spread its wings into the pass vehicle segment with a world renowned brand- Hyundai Motor India Limited. A world class 3S set up was launched for the people of Bhilwara. A beginning of a super exciting new journey.
The Noteworthy visit of Hinduja Group Chairman, Mr. Dheeraj Hinduja along with his AL team. He saw the passion and commitment toward AL by Sandeep Motors and was super proud of the same. A motivation for all of us at SMPL to excel and make a mark at national level.
We expanded in Gulabpura with Hyundai with an aim to increase penetration in the rural areas. A full 3S set up was inaugurated. This was the year which also saw getting special recognition at nation level for AL business. The company received 2 prestigious business performance award in spares and tractor.
This year, Sandeep Motors was recognised at national level for AL business again with a process adherence award for workshop business. A recognition to be cherished.

The Grand Opening of Sandeep Ashok Leyland, Shrinagar in the picturesque set up of Aravalis. A huge set up with 18 bays. To increase the penetration further, we had started our DBU set up on Ajmer road for Hyundai cars. A state of the art set up increased our footprints in the textile city. A year which saw huge recognition at national level for AL business, SMPL was awarded with the highest market share growth in entire trucks range in the year 2018.
It was remarked by the head of service, AL as the best and most equipped set up of the country. First time, a fully covered set up of 28 bays was made and surely a jewel in the crown for Sandeep Motors. A year to remember for us at Sandeep Motors. We were recognised with the highest recognition at AL. It was the time for a biggie in our lives of Sandeep Motors family. We were the “Dealer of the Year”. A moment of true joy and pride.
With tough times during pandemic, addition of KIA dealership brought joy and gave the group impetus it needed.
The opening of our second showroom in Bhilwara is not just an expansion but a promise to continue our legacy of excellence.
